Honkworm Hires Senior VP of Corporate Development

Honkworm International, a digital entertainment products and delivery technologies company, has appointed entertainment industry veteran Carah von Funk as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development.

In her new role, von Funk will be responsible for developing strategic business and creative alliances.

The new VP will work out of the Seattle-based company's Silicon Alley office.

Von Funk brings more that 15 years of traditional and online entertainment experience to Honkworm, most recently as Vice President, Business Development for Razorfish Studios.

Prior to that Von Funk seved as creative executive at the Samuel Goldwyn Company, where she was involved in the company's acquisition of the feature films "Henry V" and "La Femme Nikita."

As an independent marketing consultant, von Funk advised such high profile clients as Miramax, Tanqueray, Dewars, Vivienne Tam and Razorfish.

In addition, she served as Director of Development at Kadakowa Productions.
